Where to look for an affiliate

I was wondering, what can be the profit from implementing a marketing program on my site. Where I can find some good ideas on making money on web. There are a lot of affiliate programs to choose from and I’m just not sure what I can to look for.

First go to an affiliate directory such as http://affiliates.trafficprobe.com. The problem is there are too many places to choose from and it really depends on the website you have. If you have a web hosting website there is no need to have music related websites as an affiliate. For me, I make a profit with my websites http://www.justshoptoday.com and http://www.trafficprobe.com with http://www.google.com/adsense http://www.cj.com and http://www.searchfeed.com. With the right combination of banner ads and text ads you should at least break even with minimal work.
