Microsoft is currently beta testing Office Live, a suite of web-hosting-related services that are targeted at Small Business Owners. A domain name, web hosting, e-mail accounts and a site builder are the free “gateway drugs” to a premium suite that includes management of everything from customers and projects to employees and administration. What will this mean to your web hosting business? Is this just a further demonstration of the viability of your business model or is it a significant threat to the growth of your business among small-to-midsize businesses?

We can not clearly say that it can be a threat but many people will try web hosting from their home computers.

I think that software is useful for small businesses who wish to host their sites on their own servers.
