Email list building do's and don'ts.

Hey everybody,

I've recently begun building an opt-in email list for a pretty specific purpose (sending out a sample high paying keyword daily).

Would it be considered "bad etiquette" to add an advertisement below the sample in each email, or is that an acceptable practice?

DO's: Focus on quality, Keep the incentive train rolling
DONT's: Ask for too much information up-front, Forget to test!, Don't make any assumptions about the sender's emotional state, Don't escalate a conflict by sending an emotionally charged response, Ask for clarification, Use your email software's built-in tools to help organize messages, Remember: You don't have to respond to every message right away.
