I am planning to put up my second forum site, but as of this moment haven't decided yet on what host to choose. I have only a budget for a shared hosting and just planning to move to a vps or a dedicated one in the near future. I have read a lot of threads here but still don't have the idea who to choose. My current host gives me headaches so I need to look for another. Who would you recommend for me?

The list of shared hosting providers offering shared account with free bonuses like free domain names is really long, you may look into siteground.com, webhostingbuzz.com and lunarpages.com shared hosting offers.

I think ServerPoint.com will be goos for you in this case. This company is optimized for different web hosting applications and I believe they'll meed your need plus quality support and their live chat works 24 hours a day.

Hostgator.com and Marblehost.com will be my top choices for forums, unless you require some specific stuff to be supported. I think php be is preinstalled on any shared plan today, so no prob with getting a host.
Good lucK!
P.s.: look for coupons to get discounts!;)

HostWW.net (http://www.hostww.net/inner.php) provides nice forum-friendly applications. You have the ability to manage all aspects of e-mail, files, backup, FTP, CGI scripts, and web site statistics being their clients.

Does HostWW.net provide any discounts on their services?
Their trial period (http://hostww.net/) look attractive for me. I think I give a try to this company.
