View Full Version : MMhosting.com - Unlimited Data Transfer in NetPlus Plan
My site video sharing site will need lots of bandwidth, and I'm gonne choose a shared plan with unmetered bandwidth.
But I know that sometimes hosts put hidden limits into their TOS, so should I be careful about if I intend to choose a package like the one offered by mmhosting.com?

I suppose MMhosting.com, namely, has applied a term 'unlimited' just instead of unmetered, as a marketing trick (do not know if it is useful or harmful)))). They are quite stable company so I do not think there is anything to afraid of.
This company has made an upgrade, which allowed them to extend bandwidth to so-called unlimited, as earlier they provided very large amounts of bw as well.
Hi owl! I absolutely agree with you. I'm sure that the companies which sell hosting, suggesting unlimited disk space or bandwidth, always put hidden limits. I think that it's a blog of commercials to attract clients.
On the one hand, unlimited badndwidth and disk space is a trap I think. On the other hand, unlimited subdomains, FTP Accounts and MySQL Database is a great deal.
As a matter of fact, I can recommend you to look at Ahosting.biz, because they propose attractive plans and sweet prices.

You have to be careful everytime you conclude deals, no matter what people are saying.
Everytimwe read TOS very attentively, because hidden things are everywhere.
However, as I know MMhosting.com - I suppose there is nothing terrible has ocuured with its clients and I also suppose this is a good company to start from.
I've got a coupon code for 20% discount for the services of this company - Summer08.
Enjoy!

I used MMhosting before switching to 1and1. I switched because MMhosting had occasional downtime that became unacceptable.
So, be careful!
