Adwords work with system PPC or we can call Pay Per Click.
So for the first, we must know our budget for ads.
And we can set budget for monthly.
after that we can set our region in adwords. So we know who target consumer.
For example we want canada and US target, so we set US and Canada.
And we must bid for every keywords we want.
If we good in bid keywords, and we know the target, we would get big profit

Also, since Google allows you to bid for the keywords you want, decide beforehand how much you are able to pay for a link. One of the crucial advantages of Google Adwords is that this is a Pay-Per-Click model. This means that you only need to pay money to Google when a searcher actually clicks on the link to your website and ends up visiting it.

In my point of view the most important thing if you want to success
you have to find the right keyword. Find the keyword that has a demand and the price of the clicks is cheap. when you get the keyword.. then yo live with google adword will be fine
