LiteSpeed from simplehelix

Has anyone here ever used simplehelix.com? or Has someone ever hosted data on the server based on a LiteSpeed software?

I ask this, because I didn't know about the existance of this server software until recently when I entered the simplehelix' site.

They say this is greatky faster than apache, but why then it is as not widely used?

Any information appreciated. Except for wikipedia, which I have already examined.

I guess this is connected somehow with the eCommerce. As simplehelix.com specialized in eCommerce hosting, and moreover is very special provider (only two plans, and different structure) I think this server helps to get faster hosting for eCommerce deals.

Some time ago I have heard that simplehelix.com doesn't support cPanel (offering DirectAdmin instead), but now I think it is possible to run cPanel on their services?

From it I can conclude that simplehelix.com uses this server software for providing better conditions firstly for eCommerce deals and others, where speed of infromation processing is important.

The main and possibly only advantage of litespeed, and therefore simplehelix is the speed. They are really fast. Reliability is also very good, what is important for such things as eCommerce. Thus simplehelix.com is not just specialized in eCommerce, they are good for this content because of the software they use.

It happened so that Litespeed is indeed faster than Apache and it has it's own nice realtime admin UI.
